1. John Wallace¹ Baird was born abt. 1798.

He married Eliza Smith. Eliza was born South Carolina 1804. Eliza was the daughter of William Smith and Unknown Stanley. Eliza died aft. 1860. Eliza became the mother of Thomana Baird abt. 1839. At 37 years of age Eliza became the mother of William Wallace Baird April 29, 1842. Eliza became the mother of Francis Marion Baird abt. 1846.

John became the father of Thomana Baird abt. 1839. At 43 years of age John became the father of William Wallace Baird April 29, 1842. John became the father of Francis Marion Baird abt. 1846.

John Wallace Baird and Eliza Smith had the following children:

2 i. Thomana² Baird was born abt. 1839. She married Henry Owen Chickasaw County, Mississippi, 1860.

3 ii. William Wallace Baird was born April 29, 1842. William died Aug. 1, 1913 Lafayette County, Mississippi, at 71 years of age. He married Viginia Elizabeth McKnight Chickasaw County, Mississippi, Jan. 3, 1867. Viginia was born Chickasaw County, Mississippi Jan. 4, 1844. Viginia died Dec. 12, 1903 Chickasaw County, Mississippi.

4 iii. Francis Marion Baird was born abt. 1846. Francis died Dec. 22, 1914 at 68 years of age. He married Ellen Evelyn Barnett bef. 1861.
