1. Edward¹ Burson was born Springfield Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania May 7, 1780. Edward died Aug. 1852 Waynesville, Waynesville County, Ohio, at 72 years of age.

He married Jemima Stroud Nov. 16, 1811. Jemima was born Stroudsburg, Monroe County, Pennsylvania Nov. 5, 1779. Jemima was the daughter of Col. Jacob Stroud and Elizabeth McDowell. Jemima died Oct. 11, 1860 Richmond, Indiana, at 80 years of age. At 32 years of age Jemima became the mother of Samuel Burson Oct. 18, 1812. At 34 years of age Jemima became the mother of Ann Burson Bucks County, Pennsylvania, June 4, 1814. At 36 years of age Jemima became the mother of David Burson Bucks County, Pennsylvania, April 18, 1816. At 38 years of age Jemima became the mother of Elizabeth Burson Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Sept. 4, 1818. At 40 years of age Jemima became the mother of John W. Burson Bucks County, Pennsylvania, June 8, 1820. At 43 years of age Jemima became the mother of Lydia Burson Bucks County, Pennsylvania, May 17, 1823.

At 32 years of age Edward became the father of Samuel Burson Oct. 18, 1812. At 34 years of age Edward became the father of Ann Burson Bucks County, Pennsylvania, June 4, 1814. At 35 years of age Edward became the father of David Burson Bucks County, Pennsylvania, April 18, 1816. At 38 years of age Edward became the father of Elizabeth Burson Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Sept. 4, 1818. At 40 years of age Edward became the father of John W. Burson Bucks County, Pennsylvania, June 8, 1820. At 43 years of age Edward became the father of Lydia Burson Bucks County, Pennsylvania, May 17, 1823.

Edward Burson and Jemima Stroud had the following children:

4 iii. David Burson was born Bucks County, Pennsylvania April 18, 1816.

6 v. John W. Burson was born Bucks County, Pennsylvania June 8, 1820.

7 vi. Lydia Burson was born Bucks County, Pennsylvania May 17, 1823.
