My ancestors lived in Steenwijk (province of Overijssel) in the Netherlands. See for more info about Steenwijk in the 15th, 16th, 17th and 18th century They settled there since 1640; at least as far I've been able to research untill today.
This is a picture of my grandparents and their children, taken at about 1950.
My database contains now some 620 persons and about 215 family's from Steenwijk.
Of course a lot of the relatives moved out to other places in the Netherlands and even the United States and Australia.
