Welcome!! I'm glad you could stop by.
Here are some web pages I've made and links I like to visit.
Things I love:
Robert, my husband!!! :) We were married in Ballwin, MO on June 12, 1999. After a short time in Virginia (where we moved in July '99), we moved to sunny Florida in September '00. We moved into our first house in November '01.
Animals - I love all animals, big and small. Having a veterinarian for a mother (and growing up in a house full of animals) can do that to you! Want to see pictures of my kitties, Mena and Frasier?! Here's our newest addition, MOLLY, a mini red-tri Australian Shepherd.. she's been lots of fun!
Humane Society of Missouri. Link to the Humane Society
American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA)
Adopt-A-Greyhound - Greyhounds, most former racers, desperately searching for someone to share their home and show these dogs what it is like to live a normal dog's life. These dogs are very gentle and, due to their training, do not know how to do simple things like walk up stairs.
Siamese cats are the most vocal cat and (in my opinion) have the most personality. They are very independent and smart, but also very loving to their human companions. Many say that Siamese are mean, but they have never owned one. Siamese are just territorial and do not like others invading their possessions, which includes thier owner's space. I have owned two Siamese: Wilbur was born in 1979 and given to me when I was five. He died in 1996, 1 month shy of his 17th birthday! Mena was given to be in 1993 by Robert.
Tenuki Siamese - There are some beautiful pictures of Siamese cats in this web page.
Family - Check out my web page for the Buell Family Research Project, where I hold my research information for the Buell family of Michigan.
For some miscellaneous pages (mostly pictures) that I've made, check out the following:
Cavaliers - My brother's Drum and Bugle Corps. See some pictures from their 1998 season, Tom's 'age-out' year.
Papal Visit - Pictures from Pope John Paul II's visit to St. Louis in January 1999.
Purdue
University - I went to Purdue for four years, majoring in Construction
Engineering and Management. I went home to St. Louis, and I recently graduated from the Joint Program with Washington
University and University of Missouri
- St. Louis , with a degree in Civil Engineering.
Purdue Exponent is the largest collegiate newspaper in Indiana.
Purdue Sports!! I am still a huge Purdue supporter, although I am not there anymore. I guess you always bleed GOLD AND BLACK!! GO BOILERS! Recent notables: Alamo Bowl Champions, 1997 AND 1998!!!!(football); NCAA Champions, 1999 (women's basketball); Big Ten Champion "3-Pete" 1994-96 (men's basketball) (my greatest memories at Purdue are from watching Glenn Robinson every week at Mackey Arena and at Rupp Arena in 1994 during the first round). Both Men's and Women's basketball won the Big Ten in 1994 (sweep!) and had No. 1 seeds in the Big Dance.
Drum Corps International - I marched with the Colts from Dubuque, IA in 1992, as a member of the colorguard. We ended up 20th that year, and I loved every bit of it. The Colts have been a top twelve corps several times since then. My brother, Tom, marched with the Cavaliers from Rosemont, IL and he played baritone. 1998 was Tom's sixth and final year. The Cavaliers won the World Championship in 1992 (Madison, WI) and in 1995 (Buffalo, NY). To see Tom in his uniform, click here. For pictures from the 1998 season (some very COOL pics!) click here.
St. Louis Cardinals - I have been a huge fan since moving to St. Louis in '84. St. Louis is the best baseball town in the world, of course!
