I’M SPENDING CHRISTMAS WITH JESUS CHRIST THIS YEAR
(Author Unknown)
I see the countless Christmas trees,
Around the world below,
With tiny lights, like heaven’s stars
Reflecting on the snow
The sight is so spectacular,
Please wipe away that tear.
For I’m spending Christmas
With Jesus Christ this year.
I hear the many Christmas songs,
That people hold so dear,
But the sounds of music can’t compare
With the Christmas choir up here.
For I have no words to tell you,
The joy their voices bring,
For it is beyond description
To hear an angel sing.
I can't tell you of the splendor,
Or the peace here in the place,
Can you just imagine Christmas
With our savior, face to face?
I’ll ask him to light your spirit,
As I tell Him of your love.
So then pray for one another
As you lift your eyes above.
Please let your heart be joyful,
And let your spirit sing.
For I’m spending Christmas in heaven,
And I’m walking with the king!
When
my life work is ended, and I cross the swelling tide,
When the bright and glorious morning I shall see
I shall know my Redemer when I reach the other side,
And His smile will be the first to welcome me..
I shall
know Him, I shall know Him
And redeemed
by His side, I shall stand
I shall know
Him, I shall know Him,
By the print
of the nails in His hand.
Oh,
the soul thrilling rapture when I view His blessed face
And the luster
of His kindly beaming eye;
How my full
heart will praise Him for the mercy, love, and grace
That prepared
for me a mansion in the sky.
Oh,
the dear ones in glory, how they beckon me to come,
And our parting
at the river I recall;
To the sweet
vales of Eden they will sing my welcome home,
But I long
to meet my Saviour first of all.
Thro'
the gates of the city in a robe of spotless white,
He will lead
me where no tears will ever fall;
In the glad
song of ages I shall mingle with delight,
But I long
to meet my Saviour first of all..
I shall
know Him, I shall know Him
And redeemed
by His side, I shall stand
I shall know
Him, I shall know Him,
By the print
of the nails in His hand.

The sky shall
unfold....preparing His entrance
The stars
shall applaud Him, with thunders of praise..
The sweet
light in His eye..shall...enhance those awaiting
And we shall
behold Him...then face to face.
For
we shall behold Him..we shall behold Him
Face to face
in all of His glory
For we shall
behold Him....we shall behold Him
Face to face........our
Saviour and Lord.
The
angel shall sound..the shout of His coming...
The sleeping
shall rise from their slumbering place..
And those
who remain..shall be changed in a moment.
And we shall
behold Him ....then face to face.
We
shall behold Him...Oh yes..we shall behold Him
Face to face....in
all of His glory
We shall
behold Him...Yes..We shall behold Him
Face to face...our
Saviour and Lord..
We shall
behold HIM.....OUR SAVIOUR....AND LORD
Saviour and
Lord!!!!!!!!!
(These beautiful
songs were sang in my Mother's honor
during her
funeral ceremony by my dear friend
Georgia Sawhook.
Thanks Georgia)
Hope,
Strength, Security
A stately tree that's strong and tall
With leaves that never fade or fall
Protects you from the heat of the day,
Beneath it's shade you need but stay.
A solid rock admidst the storm,
No rain, nor wind can change its form.
Twill hold your anchor faithfully,
You'll never drift out to the sea.
A tower raised above the town,
No foe can make it crumble down.
The enemy dare not draw near,
With this in mind you need not fear.
Now all these things are Christ you see,
He's hope, and strength, security.
So in these troubled times you face,
Just rest completely in His Grace.

I have wondered
many times over my mother's extended illness,
how I would ever
make it through loosing her. She has always been
such an important
part of my life! She was my best friend!
I remember so
many special moments with her....
chats by the pool
while the little ones swam, long chats
on the phone,
going out to lunch with her and then sharing
a trip to the
grocery store.
Mom was always
who I called first in a crisis, seeking advice.
She has been at
my side for each and every one of my
surgeries and
hospitalizations. Even this most recent
hospitalization
from January to April....Mom was there.
How will I live
without my Mama?!

The beautiful
poem above, written by Gail Rivera
was a wonderful,
timely reminder to me that my Jesus
will do all those
things with me now. And He was with
Mama and me all
those times before. I can bring my
crisis to Him
on my knee's, I can talk to Him by the
pool or in the
grocery store.
It was ONLY with
the help of my Jesus that I was able to
gracefully get
through Mama's death, visitation and funeral.
It's as though
He puts a sheild around you so that you don't
feel the full
brundt of the pain all at once.
I still have a
lot of greiving to do.
But I know I am
not alone. My Lord is with me always.
He is my rock,my
high tower from the storm.
And I will greive
holding onto His omniscient hand.
"His lord
said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been
faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter
thou into the joy of thy lord." (Matthew 25:21)
"Precious
in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints." (Psalm 116:15)
