Greetings Gardeners! And welcome to my site. I've been Gardening for some 25-plus years and Organic Gardening for the last 15 of those years.

Why Organic?

I will use a term that conjures up certain political images, but I use it in the context of Organic Gardening because how we take care of our gardens has an effect on the lives of so many....this term is Pro-Life.

I am an Organic Gardener because I am Pro-Life.

Your garden is not there solely for your benifit. Your garden is an oasis for the other members of creation. How we maintain our garden affects the lives of birds, insects, micro-organisms. In short, the food chain.

Therefore, I feel as gardeners, we have a sacred duty to provide as healthy an enviroment as possible. Starting with our own yards.

On these pages, I will be providing tips, articles, instructions, etc. to help both the learned, and those starting out, to become proficient Organic Gardeners. I will also have tips for apartment dwellers.

Let's start with the Soil.

Footnote: Why the name of Faithwalker? To live life is a step of faith. When we plant, we plant in faith. Finally, I'm a Christian who tries to walk and live my faith, in faith. Hence, Faithwalker.
