I have been a certified Drama teacher for the last
ten years having received degrees in Theatre Performance and Theatre
Education from the University of South Florida. I taught for two years at
East Bay High School and seven years at Berkeley
Preparatory in the lower division. I also helped develop and run the
Cranbrook Theatre School in Bloomfield Hills Michigan. Having taught Pre-k
through Twelfth grade I have learned the importance of Theatre on a
child's self-esteem and confidence. In today's society a great deal of
importance is
placed on a person's ability to express themself and I have found that
Theatre is an excellent way to develop this skill. I have been fortunate
to have developed a successful Acting studio over the last three years and
I now have the opportunity to extend an invitation to the home schooling
community.
