Another major hole in my journal. Ah well. Goes with the territory I guess. Let's see, I always seem to spend the first paragraph saying how old everyone is now. Why break with tradition? Michelle will be 20 in January. Margaret is 18 (19 in April). Martha and Ruth will be 17 on the 26th of this month. I'm certain they could tell me just how many hours away that date actually is!
Wayne is still with Raley's and I have joined the ranks of the gainfully employed. Working part time as a Customer Service Representative for Gap Inc. Direct. Old Navy, Gap and Banana Republic. All three have online catalogs, so they pay me (and about 500 other people) good money just to sit at a computer and talk on the phone. Ain't THAT a bitch?! I like my job. The only down side at the moment is my schedule which involves getting up at 3:45 am and being at my desk by 5 am. Yuck! Why bother to sleep at all?
We are a five car...six driver family. I don't even like to think about insurance. Suffice to say, it's enough to finance a small country. Okay, maybe not that much. But enough! In the banking world I used to inhabit, we would have said..."high four figure"..in layman's terms just over $7,000. Annually. ARGH!
In general, everyone is well and happy. I'll save the gory details of this past year for later. I want to be able to sleep tonight, and if I get started...I won't!
