Rite now, i'm just a student trying my best to gather as much information as possible and turn it into knowledge. I am currently taking four classes, English Composition, Art History I, Intro to computer graphics and Intro to Multimedia. My next steps will be taking classes in 2D and 3D designing.
I am very much interested in making music too. Rob my fellow classmate from my graphics class is a very good scratcher. I want to learn and try manipulating music the same way i do with graphics, but for rite now, it's just too much to handle. i'll just play the guitar for some time... let that sit down, until some vacation or break hits in.
I transferred from Saint Cloud State University (SCSU), Minnesota. I have already completed around 27 credit hours from SCSU including Calculus I, Computer Programming I, Computers In Industry, Philosophy:Critical reasoning, Geography, Electronics Technology ... I plan to go to Art School either at AIC or AIM but have to wait for my associates to finish.
This semester is nearing its end and i've already learnt so much from it. I really like the classes here at CCD. Though a community college, the classes here are very student oriented and very knowledgeable. All my professors know my name, that's one thing different from MN and so far, all my classes are going good. I want to be a 4.0 GPA student, but i think, that's kinda hard when you're taking English classes... hmm....
My graphics professor Mr. Merle Peek is very experienced and has a great knowledge about the subject he is teaching. We have done some projects with illustrator, photoshop and indesign. He prefers Mac over PCs.. and slowly i'm getting the hang of it too... Though i'm a "PC" person, i am exploring my options to switch to a "MAC" most preferably an iMac G5.. those machines are cool... and they'll allow me to work with graphics, video as well as sound creation... cool huh !!!
