Welcome to my page of bird
links. I love to watch the birds at my feeders. It is so
relaxing. I have a tree outside my window by my desk. I can work
and enjoy the birds at the same time.(Smile) I have three
diffent feeders on the tree. I also have flower bed with a
birdbath in the middle of it and a feeder on the ground. The
birds can empty the feeders in about two days. I use sunflower
seeds and songbird seeds. I end up with a lot of sunflowers
coming up in my flower bed. I started out with a couple of
Mourning Doves and now I have a whole covy of them coming every
day. I have a Red-Bellied Woodpecker that stops by every day. He
rules the gound feeder. The Blue Jays and Cardinals move out of
his way. Lake Guntersville State Park has a Eagle Awareness
Month in January. You can go to watch the Bald Eagles leave
their nest every morning and watch them come in to roost every
night. They are beautiful birds. We also have a lot of different
birds around the lake. My next project is to identify the birds
around the lake.
