I thought I was a well
With water deep within
Riches for any who would
Let their bucket enter in
-
But I was wrong.
I thought I was a river
Flowing lazily to the sea,
A way for others to travel
To a place to be set free
-
But I was wrong.
I thought I was rivers
Of life flooding the land
With the power of the Spirit
Reaching out at His command
-
And I was right (and
humbled.)
