John B. Elmore
[1849-1885]

Is the son of Bowman Elmore [1821-1864] and Sarah Ramsey [1825-1855] of Pickens County, Alabama. Mary Bell Bonner, is working on the Elmore families of Pickens County, Alabama.

He married Julia Ann Byars and is the father of at least 9 children. I descend from daughter Ida Lucinda Elmore.  Here is a great photo of most of the rest of Ida's siblings.

My family does not know much about John B. Elmore, as he died young. He is buried at Fellowship Baptist Cemetery, Reform, Pickens County, Alabama.
