Alexander Thrasher born October 24, 1841 and
married Emeline Lathrop.
They were married about 1868 and had 3 children.
Emeline died and the family moved to Wisconsin.
The children of Emeline and Alexander Thrasher:
1) George A. Thrasher, born 1869
2) Nelson D. Thrasher born 1871
3) John W. Thrasher born 1873
Alexander again marries to a Emma Traver and they have 6 children. Emma
as you have already guessed is a branch off of our tree. Cause to
celebrate.... Another part of the Traver History.
The children of Emma Traver and Alexander:
1) Lela May Thrasher, born 1880
2) Hettie A. Thrasher, born 1882
3) Tessie Thrasher, born 1884
4) Roy Thrasher, born 1886
5) Eugene Thrasher, born 1888
6) Irene Thrasher, born 1888
Alexander was the son of Alexander Thrasher and Esther Mehetabel Redner. He
was born in 1841 in New York and died 1896 in Wisconsin.
Emma Traver was born Nov 20, 1858 and was the daughter of William Traver
and Harriet better known as Anna VanNess. She was one of 14 children.
We believe she was the 4th child born to this couple. She died in 1907.
I want to thank Norman and Esther Thrasher for being so kind to answer
another letter full of questions concerning this family.
I appreciate the thoughtfulness they showed this stranger.
They helped me to know this family a little better. They were not just more
names on a piece of paper, they had a story and a life.
