NOTE: Information that I now have indicates that Charles Burke ABERNETHY may not have been the son of Nathan ABERNETHY and Eve CLINE, as local researchers have usually surmised. Nathan ABERNETHY and Eve CLINE and fourteen children relocated to Georgia, and none of the local (Gaston and Lincoln Counties, NC) research that I have seen presents this information.
