GEORGE WILSON and his wife MARY ANNE lived in Belfast, Ireland where it is believed they had a department store. Three of their children that we know of were Andrew, Matthew and Katie, all of whom emigrated to the Philadelphia area. Matthew returned to Ireland after some years, Katie lived to be 100: nothing more is known of them.
Andrew married Sarah Eccles and they had ten children:-Selena married William Bleyler. Their children are Selena, Charlotte, Mae, and Helen.
-Caroline married Francis Bennett and they had a daughter, Elizabeth Marie.
-Lillian married David Garman.
-Andrew P. III married Gertrude DeWitt. Their children are Mary Carol, Linda, Andrew, Robert, Richard and Patricia.
-Mae married John Wise. Their children are: John, Peggi, Jeanne, Debbie, Selena and Judy.
-James died as a child.
-Helen married Harry McGarrigel and they had Harry, Donald, Betty and Bill.
-Margaret married Al Weigand. Their children are Sally, Delores and Al.
-Thomas married Florence Ragno.
-Teresa was stillborn.
The family lived in the greater Philadelphia area until about 1915 when they moved to Atlantic City, NJ. There Andrew had a construction business and built houses on Wilson Ave. Selena, Caroline, Peg and Tom moved back to the Philadelphia region while the remainder of the family stayed in the vicinity of Atlantic City.
