Good things come to those who wait? In the case of ice hockey in Augusta, GA, that may well be true! Hockey is my favorite sport, and settling for an NHL game on television just doesn't quite match the thrill of being at the rink! Augusta welcomed our East Coast Hockey League team for the 1998-1999 season with sell-out crowds! Everyone has hockey fever! Our mascot, Louie the Lynx, helps stir things up as he drives around the ice shooting free t-shirts from the Lynx Launcher, and the NoiseMaker is our official spirit meter man! He is always trying to get the crowds chanting *Let's Go Lynx* and gives us a score ranging from Too Quiet to The Hottest Thing on Ice!
