You will find links below to different Java programs that will enable to play with some of Pickover's fascinating ideas about infinity and large numbers. It is not an attempt to duplicate all the programs in the book, although I hope to add more Java programs and links in the near future.
The nice thing about the following puzzles is that while they require no deep
mathematical knowledge (in fact they don't require any knowledge
of math at all), they do give an insight into the possibilties hidden in simple
math. They are also visually interesting and fun to play with.
Loom Of Creation This is a mathematical version of the Spyrograph game with a colorful twist.
Recursive Worlds Recursive worlds is a way to explore the possibilities of patterns within patterns and symetry.
