A WINDOW TO THE HEART

(Psa 119:67 KJV) "BEFORE I WAS AFFLICTED I WENT ASTRAY:

BUT NOW HAVE I KEPT THY WORD."

Before I was afflicted who was I in Christ? Was I one who said, “I have led others to you Lord, I

have prophesied in Your name,” yet I hardly knew my Lord nor did I keep His word. I was

prideful thinking I had arrived at the gates of heaven. When I sinned I said the words of

repentance but did not have repentence in my heart. Oh! how merciful my Lord is,

that He keeps me, when I have been arrogant and rebellious.

(Psa 119:71 KJV) "IT IS GOOD FOR ME THAT I HAVE BEEN AFFLICTED;

THAT I MIGHT LEARN THY STATUTES."

When the Lord brought me low in my affliction, I reached out as a beggar, lifting up unholy

hands and pleading for some relief in my pain. I had no fear of the Lord nor did I want it, or

even know I needed it. Yet again my Lord was merciful and did not smite me in my ignorance,

but drew me closer and closer to Him. He opened up His Word to me that I might get a glimpse

of the mysteries He would have unfold before me. Who was I that He should bless me thus?

Upon reflection and knowing from His Word I realized, I was His child and He was teaching me

all His statutes that I might truly serve Him. He gave to me a gift, the gift of the

Spirit of the Fear of the Lord, and I shall praise Him forever.

(Psa 119:75 KJV) "I KNOW, O LORD, THAT THY JUDGEMENTS ARE RIGHT,

AND THAT THOU IN FAITHFULNESS HAST AFFLICTED ME."

Your love is everlasting and Thy judgments are right, just as when a sheep goes astray

and You break it’s leg and carry it, thus have you crippled and carried me. You in Your mercy,

have lifted me up and filled me with a joy that is unfathomable and have wiped the tears of

doubt and unbelief from my heart.

(2 Cor 12:9 KJV) "AND HE SAID UNTO ME, MY GRACE IS SUFFICIENT FOR THEE:

FOR MY STRENGTH IS MADE PERFECT IN WEAKNESS.

MOST GLADLY THEREFORE WILL I RATHER GLORY IN MY INFIMITIES,

THAT THE POWER OF CHRIST MAY REST UPON ME."

Keep me in Thy grace and do not take Thine eyes off of me for I am weak and need Your

strength. I can do all things with the help of my Lord.

(1 Pet 4:12-13 KJV) "BELOVED, THINK IT NOT STRANGE CONCERNING THE FIERY

TRIAL WHICH IS TO TRY YOU, AS THOUGH SOME STRANGE THING HAPPENED

UNTO YOU: BUT REJOICE, INASMUCH AS YE ARE PARTAKERS OF CHRIST'S

SUFFERINGS; THAT, WHEN HIS GLORY SHALL BE REVEALED,

YE MAY BE GLAD, ALSO WITH EXCEEDING JOY."

Praise the Lord My God Almighty,
Praise the Lord Almighty God,
Praise the Lord for He is Holy,

PRAISE THE LORD HE UNDERSTOOD.
