Quilts

This page will be under construction. I have several quilts that I'm quite proud of, but alas, I must wait for pictures, as they no longer reside in this house. As soon as I can get them, I will scan them and put them up.

This is called "The Blue One" for obvious reasons! It was a gift for my Dad on Father's day last year. I won't bore you with the story behind the name, but trust me there is one! :)

This is a log cabin variation that was a graduation gift for a niece. There is an appliqued panel in the center with a mountain scene and a large tree on the left.

And here is the last one I finished. It was a trade for a horse. After having finished it, I'm certain that the new quilt owner got the better side of the deal! It is an oversized king, entirely hand quilted, colorwash triple Irish Chain.

Detail of the medallion quilting. Every chain was also quilted diagonally.

Irish with it's Best of Class Ribbon from the Kittitas County Fair. The first and only quilt I have ever entered into competition. It's aptly named "Once in a Century.

This is what happens when my mom and I get together...can you tell who the ham is in the family?

I promise, there will be more and better pics soon! This whole thing was kind of a spur of the moment idea! *VBG*
