Born on December 12th, 1996 in Cannonsburg, Pennsylvania

Adopted by Brian Salopek & Sara Barkes in February of 1997

Alex is of course, a boy, and he currently weights about 28 pounds and is 15 inches tall

He is a pure bred Beagle. Both of his parents are AKC registered and so is Alex.

Alex is tri-colored... His torso is mostly black with his legs, belly and tip of his tail being white. The white extends around his neck and to the back of his head into a point. His face is mostly brown and he has some brown under his legs and near his backside. Around his cute little black nose is also white.

He has lots of room to run and play here in Library, Pennsylvania, South Park Township... He likes to take walks in the park.

Alex has been neutered and he told us that he forgives us.

In the summer of 1997 Alex had six weeks of obedience training... It helped to settle him down, he listens much better now.

His favorite activity is sleeping (preferably in a warm sunny spot)

Pizza and spaghetti are his favorite foods...

...but his favorite treats are Alpo Beefy Burgers. He likes to play with them before he eats them.

Alex's best friends are Beanie, Lexus & Stratus, he also likes to play with Pumpkin, but she's a cat!

Alex is very close to his daddy, Brian, and he sometimes suffers from separation anxiety

Alex does have some annoying habits:

He's afraid of anything that's dark in color and out of place (like a pile a clothes on the floor)... He barks at it till someone moves it.

He moans in his sleep like an old man

He has to sleep in the bed and takes up both sides and all the blankets

He likes to carry his leash in his mouth and plays tug-of-war when you try to take it off him

He buries bones and treats INSIDE the house!... he digs in a corner and then forgets about them
