Hi! My name is Chrissy, as you've probably already gathered!, and I am 21 years old. Just because we're talking about the age thing, someone e-mailed me recently and told me I need to grow up. First of all, that's ridiculous. Why on earth would you assume that I'm not "grown up?" Second of all, I am very grown up in the 'real world.' Fortunately, this isn't the real world. So if I want to act like a six-year-old, or sometimes a four-year-old, I guess that's my right as webmaster, and if that truly bothers you, that's a little disappointing. I have a job, I go to school, and in May I'll be graduating from the University, so I think I've got all my bases covered. I'm sorry if I scared you away! Please come back! I'm the tubby one in the prom picture on the bottom of the page. The picture above is one I had to take for work, so needless to say, I'm not at my best! (Oh, who am I kidding? I look like that all the time!)

My birthday is on July 8, my favorite color is yellow, and my favorite drink is Dr. Pepper. Even though it's caloric value is a little more than desired. (In case you can't tell, my favorite word is wahoo!!) I have three little brothers, John- 16, Ben- 11 and Matt, 5 years old. (he is so cute!) My parents' names are Bobbie and Bob. I live in Texas, in a medium-large-sized city that everyone thinks is smaller than it is, and I love it!! I have 1 dogs (Candy (a pekapoo - half pekinese, half poodle), and Dottie (a chihuahua)), a cat (Kato), and a hamster.

I think reading is just about my favorite thing to do and I have started a Book Nook to display and talk about some of my favorite books and authors. I love Winnie the Pooh, however, my real favorite is Eeyore, because, even though I consider myself an optimist, Eeyore knows there's always a raincloud- and his tail comes off!

I am attending UTEP (the University of Texas at El Paso) and pursuing a degree in elementary education. This fall I will start my student teaching, which should be quite an adventure. (wahoo!!) I work at Sherwood Engineering and Talking Pinatas, and I created the website, so make sure you stop by and visit!

I used to play the flute in my high school's marching and concert band - which, despite the long rehearsals, memorizing music and band directors, was a lot of fun. (Yes, I am a nerd. Completely a nerd, but I'm still fun!)(I know, you're going, "yeah, right!") I am currently trying to figure out the piano, but am making very slow progress! Of course, I love Disney, and the classics are still my favorite! I LOVE music! Any kind, basically, but some of the groups I love the most are Simon & Garfunkel, The Beatles, or visit this Beatles site too!, The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, the Mamas and the Papas, Paul Simon and nearly anything else.

I also love chocolate, (even though I've been on a diet since July) and some of my favorite stuff is Cadbury's Chocolate!! Cadbury Creme Eggs! YUM! (I know, it sounds like obsession!!) My very favorite channel is TCM. Turner Classic Movies. My family gets mad because I could watch old movies all day long!!!

I recently started up a graphics site and I am really excited about it. So Stop by and borrow some! I'm an education major and I had to make a web page with some friends for one of my classes.
