98' Season Outlook

Well this year could finally be the year. Look for Griffey Jr. to break Maris' record this year, since it is an expansion year. Look for Randy Johnson to win the Cy Young this year, if he stays healthy and isn't traded. Pray that the bullpen can hold together this year and get their "sh!t" together to win and save some games. Your only as strong as your weakest link, and hopefully the bullpen will do at least half as good as they did last year. The Mariners still have a good portion of last years "Murderers Row" intact. Paul Sorrento has been replaced with David Segui and his 21 homers of last year, Robert Perez figures to be in at left field for the start of the season anyways. The Mariners window of opportunity is rapidly closing, and a sense of urgency is beginning to fill the air. Hopefully this will be the year when all things will come together for them.
