1. Rules and Regulations 1.1. Each player will play their own ball. 1.2. Scores will be handicapped using a form of the Callaway system. 1.3. Lost balls and out of bounds balls will result in a two (2) stroke penalty. 2. Handicap system This system designed by Lionel (Kadrlik) Callaway, former golf professional is used to determine a players handicap after the round. The worst individual holes for the first eight (8) holes are deducted from the gross score for the nine (9) holes. Deductions from the gross score are below. If you score: Handicap: Par or less Scratch 28 - 31 1/2 worst hole 32 - 35 One (1) worst hole 36 - 39 One (1) worst hole plus 1/2 next worst hole 40 - 43 Two (2) worst holes 44 - 47 Two (2) worst holes plus 1/2 next worst hole 48 - 51 Three (3) worst holes 52 - 55 Three (3) worst holes plus 1/2 next worst hole 56 - 59 Four (4) worst holes >60 Four (4) worst holes plus 1/2 next worst hole 2.1. Worst hole is the highest hole score excluding the ninth hole. 2.2. Half holes are rounded to the nearest even whole number, e.g., 1/2 of 5 = 2.5 when rounded even becomes 2, likewise 1/2 of 7 = 3.5 when rounded even becomes 4. 3. PRIZES Low Net Score - Traveling Trophy, one (1) dozen Kolacky, and One (1) ring of - Jirtnice. Low Gross Score - One (1) ring of Jirtnice. High Gross Score - One (1) six pack of Schmidt™. Hole in one on #9 - 1972 KADILLAC. Closest to pin #2 - One (1) Dozen Kolacky. Closest to pin #3 - One (1) ring of Bologna. Longest putt on #8 - One (1) Dozen Kolacky. Longest drive in fairway on #6 - Sleeve of Golf balls. GRAND PRIZE - Golfers finishing in 6th. place, 12th. place, and 18th. place will be awarded the responsibility of organizing next years YAK SE MÁS OPEN. 3.1. If two or more persons with Low Net score are tied, then the person with the lower Gross score wins. 3.2. If there is still a tie, then the person who can throw their putter the farthest distance wins. |
