Just some Interesting things that I have found that have to do with Nascar. :o)~

I just wanted to share this really great poem with all of the NASCAR fans out there.

'Twas a few days before Christmas, both near and far
All the shops were quiet, in the world of NASCAR;
The drivers were all resting, and snug in the beds
While visions of race trophies, danced in their heads.

The trophy was sitting on Jeff Gordon's mantle with care
Robby Gordon bumped in and Jeff said, "Don't you dare."
The red NASCAR trailer was closed up with care
While Harvick and Stewart said, "I hate getting called in there."

Dale Jr. was getting ready to go on yet another late night show
While Tony Eury Sr. and the No. 8 were a quarter inch low;
When all of a sudden I heard a noise as I readied to snooze,
It was drivers complaining because NASCAR changed rules!

Something about restrictor plates on tracks with high speeds,
As Mike Helton gave notice, for changing the needs;
He took the heat well, seems like he's done this before
Let's hope 2002 has pain and disaster no more.

Then this man in a red suit, entered into the garage space
He had checkered flags, a white beard and a smile on his face
"To the fans of the sport, it's time to do something nice,
How about an autograph for all, and tickets at half price?"

The fans were so happy, they soon began to cheer
But, as always, were careful not to spill all the beer;
As the jolly old man, climbed back into his ride
He lined up his team, four deep and side by side.

"On Waltrip, on Spencer, on Junior and Martin,
On Herminator, on Rusty, on Craven and Marlin!
Race away, race away, race away fast,
Oh how I know how you guys hate to get passed!"

As he nodded goodbye and took off, oh what did I see?
On the rear bumper was a black sticker, with a white No. 3.

Happy Holidays everyone!
