* Overall Medallions Regular 40 ft pitcher award - - - Regular 30 ft pitchers award 8-11          2                  8-11            2 12-17          3                  12-17            3 18-22          4                  18-22            4 23-27          5                  23-27            5 28-32          6                  28-32            6 * Booby Award (lowest handicap series of the year) * MOST IMPROVED     Will be decided by taking the players final average from the previous year and subtracting their current years final average. The player with the largest increase will be the most improved. A minimum of 30 games must be pitched in each year. Improvement of average will be figured to 1/100th of a point. * ROOKIE OF YEAR     Must be new to the Sheridan Leagues and must have pitched in less than a total of 12 games the previous years. The award will be based on improvement of average from their 9th game thru the end of season.     Improvement of average will be figured to 1/100th of a point. * ACHIEVEMENT AWARD Suggested qualifications: should include but not limited to attitude, assists at tournaments, promote AHPA and league functions, tournament participation, league attendance, help with growth of league, above call of duty and not by popularity.  At least 2 years of Sheridan Mixed League membership required. This award cannot be received more than twice in a five year period, nor, in consecutive years. A pitcher may win only one of the following awards per year.  If a pitcher sets a new record that award will be given first, other wise the awards will be given the following order. If a pitcher wins * High Actual Overall Season they cannot win * High Handicap Overall Season (after 9th game) If a pitcher wins * High Actual Series Season they cannot win * High Handicap Series (after 9th game) If a pitcher wins * High Actual Game Season they cannot win * High Handicap Game (after 9th game) * TO EARN THESE AWARDS A PITCHER MUST BE A REGULAR PITCHER AND NOT A SUB AND HAVE PITCHED IN AT LEAST 30 REGULAR SEASON GAMES. THERE WILL BE EQUAL AWARDS FOR MEN AND WOMEN, EXCEPT FOR OVERALL MEDALLIONS WHICH WILL BE GIVEN PER THE NUMBER OF REGULAR PITCHERS AS SHOWN ABOVE.
