Tournament Rules

  • This is an invitation only tournament.
  • Texas Hold'em will be the game of choice.
  • You must play atleast once before the 3rd event or you are not elgible for the Final Table.
  • Tournament will consist of 7 events (monthly).
  • Play will begin promptly at 7:30pm and will end at 11:30pm.
  • The Final Table - Event #7 will begin at 6:00pm and run until we have a winner
  • $40 buy in for your first event play. This goes into a pot for the Final Table.
  • Each player will begin play with the same amount of chips. (Determined on night of play)
  • No rebuys allowed.
  • Antes will escalate each hour:
    • Hour 1 - 1
    • Hour 2 - 5
    • Hour 3 - 10
    • Hour 4 - 25
  • Each player may sit out (no ante req'd.) a maximum of 8 hands during the night. There will be set times for breaks (one 10 minute break per hour).
  • Each player must participate in atleast 4 events to be elgible for the Final Table.
  • We will have a 12 player maximum limit for the duration of the tournament.
  • In a 12 player tournament, first place gets 12 points, second place gets 11 points, third place gets 10 points ... all the way down to last place who gets 1 point. The more players in the tournament, the more points the winners will be awarded.
  • Winners will be determined by chip count at the end of each night's play.
  • Point system will be used to determine the top 7 players that will play at the Final Table (Event #7).
  • Chip counts will be given at the Final Table based on point totals from the previous events (see chart).
  • The Final Table will be No Limit Texas Hold'em
    • 1st place - 75% of total pot
    • 2nd place - 15% of total pot
    • 3rd place - 10% of total pot

Basic House Rules

  • If you would like to host a game at your house please email us so we can fill in the schedule.
  • The house has the authority to close any game at any time.
  • Keep your cards and chips on the poker table and in plain view. Keep your big chips out front.
  • Never touch another player's cards or chips.
  • Do not bend or mark the cards.
  • Only the english language may be spoken at the table.
  • No speaking on the phone at a table.
  • Please verbally announce your betting action.
  • Do not splash the pot.
  • Only one player to a hand.
  • Players who are all-in must reveal their hands.
  • The cards speak for themselves.
  • Do not reveal your folded cards, either physically or verbally.
  • Check-raising is acceptable and ... encouraged!
  • Unless you suspect cheating, please do not ask to view a hand that has been called.
  • No rabbit hunting (seeing what the next cards would have been).
  • No cheating! Remember, a Smith & Wesson beats five aces!
