Brisbane Shield Finals
7:00pm Ladies final - Shamrocks v Harps; 8:30pm Mens final - Shamrocks v John Mitchels "Gaelic Park", Bowhill Road, Willawong.
The Shield finals have been played under lights since 2003 when Shamrocks won in front of a crowd of over 300. This year Shamrocks have qualified for both the ladies and mens finals, and take on the defending champions in both.
This is the eighth consecutive Brisbane Shield final for the Shamrocks mens team, having last won in 2003, although it has lost the last four straight, including the last three to John Mitchels.
For the Shamrocks ladies team, this is only its second Brisbane Shield final since last winning the title in 2000.
