    Hinckley United have developed a great reputation for a vocal away support. Yet our Middlefield Lane following is often more reserved. What's wrong - are we frightened of upsetting the local residents? As the new season approaches we really need to make sure our home support gets behind the team.

    United fans must make Middlefield Lane a difficult ground to come too. We have one of the largest levels of support in the League and we must make it count. Fans do make a difference. The rules are simple - when we're winning shout your support - when we're losing shout it even louder!

    Hinckley had a great second half to the 1998-9 season - if we hadn't started so badly we would have been promoted. This year we CAN do it.

    Remember the glory days of Athletic in the early 1960s? Remember our great cup victories against Kettering and Stalybridge? Come and support United home and away...
