Movies:

How good was X2? Better than the orginal? Yes! At least that was the general feeling I got from asking around (a few weird people thought otherwise...j/k). Can't wait for the third one!

Note: Skip the following if you have your own thoughts about The Matrix Reloaded or want to be spared my wordy reflections. (If you haven't see it yet, stop and get your tickets now!)

In my opinion, the sequel didn't disappoint. Sure you may have found the wordy theological monologues over the top and the Zion scenes a little drawn out, but the action was awesome! I think Keanu Reeves and Carrie Anne-Moss reprised their roles as Neo and Trinity very well. Niobe was cool too. For the amount of explaining the directors had to do, especially with the introduction of all the new characters and ideas, I couldn't ask for a better job. The story is so creative. If you were looking for more of it, don't fret. The Matrix Revolutions (the trailer for which was shown at the end of the Reloaded credits) comes out in November and is supposed to be more epic. Only six months!

Freaky Friday, a Disney remake starring Jamie Lee-Curtis and Lindsay Lohan, comes out in August. Jodie Foster was in the original. I suppose there are plenty of other movies I could be plugging, but what the hey.
