Basic Scuba Course

Registration and start of the next course will be 06 Feb 2000. For this course the pool will be available 2 nights a week on Sun/Weds. Final check out dives in early to mid June.

Upcoming Courses

In January and Febuary the following courses will be offered: DAN O2 provider; Equipment Repair Specialist and Ice Diver. An Advanced Rescue is planned for shortly after the spring thaw of the lake. Artificial Reef Project

The E.D.A.C. supports the idea of having an artificial reef in Cold Lake. However, the scuba club will have to handle all procedures involved in such a project. In doing so, a sub-committee will be formed to look after the project and will come under the supervision of the event co-ordinator, Rick Barnett. Anyone interested in sitting in the sub-committee can contact Rick. As interest to divers, Rick mentioned that a feasibility study to expend the marina double its size was underway.

New Recreation Centre

Our clubhouse remains in the old rec centre until some issues are resolved with our new home. We do have a storage room at the new pool and keep some tanks and regs there for weekly dive skills training. If you want to participate in our Weds or Sun evening periods call Paul at 594-5665. All members and propective members are welcome.

Winter Hours

Your winter dive needs for rentals will be handled on a call by call basis. If you need equipment please one of us and we will arrange to meet you at the clubhouse.
