KOBE YOUNGEST EVER

Kobe became the youngest player ever to appear in a regular-season NBA game when he entered the game against the Minnesota Timberwolves (11/3/96). Bryant was 18 years, 2 months and 11 days old when he entered the game. He surpassed Stanley Brown (18 years/4 months in 1947) as the youngest player all time.

KOBE EXCITES FORUM CROWD IN HOME DEBUT

Kobe brought the GW Forum crowd to their feet with an 11 point, two rebound and three assists performance that included a "Jordan-esque" tomahawk jam through the lane and over the Sixer defense.

KOBE MAKES NBA PRESEASON DEBUT

Kobe makes his NBA pre-season debut Wednesday, Oct. 16 in Fresno, California against the Dallas Mavs. Kobe was cleared to play on Monday, Oct. 14 by team doctors and looked great in his first practice session that afternoon.

Lakers rookie guard Kobe Bryant, recovering from a fractured left wrist, had his cast removed and will be rehabilitating the wrist 2 to 4 weeks.

Lakers rookie guard Kobe Bryant suffered a fractured left wrist while playing in a pick-up basketball game over the Labor Day weekend. Kobe is expected to be out a minimum of six weeks.

KOBE TO APPEAR ON MOESHA

Kobe Bryant taped an episode of the television sitcom "Moesha" starring Brandy. As you may know, Brandy was Kobe's date at his prom.

Kobe has already appeared in the latest adidas commercial that also features Keyshawn Johnson. See Kobe elevate over defenders as a preview of his entry into the NBA. Kobe has also shot a commercial for ESPN SportsCenter, so look out for that one when the season starts.

SIGN THAT KID UP!

The Lakers signed Kobe Bryant to a contract on Wednesday, July 24, officially making him the youngest player in Lakers history. Kobe will be battling Portland's Jermaine O'Neal to see who will be the youngest player ever to play in an NBA game.
