Rules of Hockey
The players consist of no more than 6 players (including the goalie) on the ice from each team at one time (more than 6 results in a penalty). The goalie may be taken out of the crease in exchange for another player. When a goal is scored when the goalie is not the 6th man on the ice,it's called an empty net (EN) goal.
When a penalty is called, the opposing team is on what is called a power play. If a goal is scored during a power play, the player in the penalty box is let out. The team whose player is in the penalty box is on what is called a penalty kill.
