Fishing is one of my favorite things to do. Whether it's freshwater or saltwater, I am always looking forward to pitching a line. In the freshwater, I enjoy just about any kind of fishing, although I have never done any fly fishing. I have done some bass fishing, and plan to do more. Hey, I also enjoy dropping a wiggler down on top of a bluegill bed, too. That's fishing!
Baywatch Marina, Fish River - not much action; a few reds and flounder from the pier on dead shrimp. Too much fresh water in the river.
I will be glad to post your fishing stories, reports and/or snapshots (w/captions)

Out in the salt, I enjoy fishing for speckled trout, flounder, and redfish. I like the deep sea, but don't have an open water boat, so haven't been much. I am looking forward to going for some spanish mackerel this summer.
Here on Mobile Bay, there are great opportunities to do just about any kind of fishing. It's only 1/2 hour from the Gulf in one direction, or the freshwater river delta in the other direction...a fisherman's dream!
This is a 36-inch redfish that I caught at the point at Fort Morgan. We didn't get a weight, but we are guessing about 25 lbs. It was a battle, especially when you're running low on line! Thanks to my buddies, David and Ken for helping me land it.
This nice Jack Cravelle was caught while trolling about 5 miles off the coast in the Gulf of Mexico.
