Ms. Albert entertained us with a number of Christmas songs that included a popular Carpenter's tune and Ryan Cayabyab's "Kumukutikutitap", a playful Tagalog song for kids. She received a standing ovation for her Sergio Mendez medley, which surely brought back memories of the '60s and '70s for a lot of us. The show was not complete without singing her popular song "Tell Me" and was followed up by "I Remember the Boy", that had a lot of her fans singing with her.

as awarded by the Chairman
The following recipients gave us awards during our grade school in SBC. Tonight, it is their turn to receive awards from us for our appreciation for all they have done. Our mentors in grade school, their dedication to their vocation provided guidance and knowledge during our formative years in San Beda, this award is hereby given to Mr. Ben Baluyut and former Art teacher, Mrs. Aida Garchitorena, now Mrs. Baluyut.
Another Appreciation Award goes to this person with a kind heart. He wholeheartedly gave to our fund, as well as, campaigned among his circle for people to attend tonight’s event, this Appreciation award goes to Carlos Gaudinez.
Each year when we sing the song ‘Sometimes’, I have always thought of how we could show our appreciation to those who worked hard and sacrificed to make our event successful. Tonight we show gratitude and acknowledgement for the people who went the extra mile, those who went above and beyond their call of duty. This is the A-Team of 2004 ! They provided the team spirit, the brotherhood, and camaraderie that we learned in San Beda.
This person had designed our logos, and yearly Ball Ads. He has helped me a lot in making our website look fancier by his flash screens and nifty artwork. This award goes to Jocel Razal.
This person exemplifies the true SBCHS75 spirit. A devoted member who sees to it that he partakes in every challenge we face. This year he promoted our Ball and he has always been a stalwart Ad donor and solicitor, he even has SBCHS75 for a license plate frame… the Iron Chef of Northern Cal. Jose Damian “Jojo JoLu Jzajza Gwyn” Aquino Lucero
This person is another example of a devoted member of SBCHS75. He pours his energy into getting his boss to support our causes, as well as, convince others that helping SBCHS75 would benefit their businesses too, thanks also for loving your job as our Emcee, our Solicitor-General Al Alcantara
This guy has been very enthusiastic about the Ball and any of our activities for that matter. He clamored for auction and raffle items, and even though he had late working hours, he tried to catch up with the group just to join our performances, Jojo Padua
One call to this person and he was in the team of dancers. He is there to give advice and analyze how we should go about our tasks. He volunteered his house for our Halloween dance practice which we have dubbed Da Farm due to the concoctions he gives out during the Holidays, the iron chef of Southern California, Butch Guitarte.
This person is not only there when you need him, but he actually volunteers for work. This year he drove around to collect goods from batchmates with items to sell for our fund raisers. If you consider the high gas prices, this person is a truly dedicated cult member. He also volunteered his house that I blessed as Da Hill for our dance practices…. thank you for answering my plea to become a Hexotic dancer. The hardworking Bunny Gayon.
This person is an honorary cult member of SBCHS75. A dedicated supporter and in fact working hard tonight as our Emcee. I want to acknowledge once again, Ms Sheila Bajamundi for your enthusiaism, sacrifice and support.
This person worked with me in gathering Ads for our souvenir program this year. He practically ignored his duties at work in order to meet the deadlines that our printer set for us. He worked through sleepless nights in order to create the Ads of our souvenir program, and in the process, he found time to comfort me with all the challenges I was facing in this endeavor.Aside from this, he knocked on the doors of our NorCal brothers to convince them to be here tonight…..thank you for your support, Wally Buhay
This person’s house is the fund raising HQ of SBCHS75. Aside from opening his house, known as Da Den, and waking up early to post our yard sale signs, he also cooks for us during these events, and then plays host to poker tournaments that go through the night. Tonight he is working and keeping an eye on your Silent Auction bids. Thank you for your sacrifice and dedication, Joseph Yu
Finally, a person whose time, all of us should realize was spent in pursuit of another successful event. He spent time creating the dance steps for our performers tonight, including all challenges and changes that occurred along the way. A person whose creativity is responsible for the center pieces that some of you will be bringing home tonight. He is also responsible for directing our wonderful program and collaborated with me in making sure that everyone will have fun tonight...thank you for your time and dedication for the success of tonight’s event, George Sityar
Special Mention also goes to our DJ Jun Alcantara for giving us the opportunity to employ his services, Adrian Gomez, Teddy Relatos for working with us and always supporting our event, Tony Vergel de Dios for the meaningful invocation, Caes Anonas for ticket printing & collecting checks addressed to his house. Debbie Perez for posting flyers around the area and working hard to get people to attend, and the rest of you, friends and family, who gave to the Silent Auction, raffle items, solicited Ads, and peddled tickets, and the rest of the committee members who did their fair share in this event & those I forgot to mention. Thank you!
We are not yet done. We have more APPRECIATION AWARDS. May I now call on a person who has proven to be a worthy team player in this big challenge this year, my wife, Maria Belen, to help me present the next awards:
For sharing your talents and your role in the altruistic effort in providing for those in need. Ms. Jessica Lesaca and Ms. Jaclyn Millar.
Finally, I want to present the top award for a special lady who has shared with us the talents that God has bestowed on her, and in doing so, she has shown her humility, and kindness by helping us achieve our charitable goals with her presence. Thank you very much, Ms. Joey Albert.
The Chairman awards Ms. Joey Albert a token of appreciation for sharing her talent in support of SBCHS75's altruistic causes.
