Presschool Program
Objectives:

To develop the
child in all aspects; spiritual,
physical, social, emotional and cognitive
so that he/she may be better prepared to
adjust and cope with life situations
within the context of his experiences. |

To maximize the
child's potentials through a variety of
carefully selected and meaningful
experiences considering his interests and
capabilities. |

To develop the
child into a self - propelling, thinking
and contributing indicidual, able to make
decisions which will prepare him for the
more complex demands of future life. |

Overview
of the Program
In
order to realize those objectives
the school put up a Learning
Recreation Center where different
centers of interest are found. |

- We
purchased indoor play
equipments for the
physical or motor
development
- Tapes,
books and CD's for
communications, numeracy
and sensory - perceptual
skills
- Art
materials and musical
instruments are provided
for creative, social and
emotional development.
- Classrooms
of nursery and
kindergarten are well
equipped w/ instructional
materials for cognitive
and manipulative
activities thus
facilitating the
development of the
different learning areas
like:

Motor and Creative
Development - we provide activities for
Art, Music and Physical Education (art
material, musical instrument are to be

activities are concerned mostly
in developing the creative
expressions of the child through
drawing, painting and
manipulative activities.
- Music,
children's songs, rhymes and
other musical activities are used
to help enjoy various forms of
music and develop their listening
skills.
- Physical
Education include movement
exploration and creativity,
Games, action songs, story plays,
mimetics and rhythmic activities
are means for children to use
their bodies as a medium for
learning.
