Philadelphia Operation Town Watch (POTW) is building the institution of town watch in this city. It is respected throughout the country as a premier town watch organization. Executive Director Anthony Murphy is in demand as a consultant to other cities that want t replicate the success of Philadelphia's program.
One of the hallmarks of POTW is the certification training that every member is required to attend. Training covers such areas as: Organizational Development, Communication, the 911 Emergency System, Observation and Documentation, Patrolling, Networking-Recruitment and Retention, the Law and Town Watch and Quality of Life Issues.
