However, in this passage of time, I have learned a great many things.
First, while Nicole still without a doubt remains the Patron Saint of
Redheads, much knowledge has passed my way indicating that she is not so
divine as she once appeared. Now, this doesn't mean that I'm casting her
to the wayside; it just means that I've come to realize that though she
will always have a special place with me due to the so-called resemblance
I am continually told we have, I cannot place the Full Power of Redheads
upon her alone. As it is, I have found many other redheaded wonders who
gain an equal share of this power. In fact, though many of these are
famous ones, there are countless others across the world who, though
unknown, all share this common bond and force.
Because of this, it seems necessary for me to found the Sisters of the Red Hair-archy. As a side note, I must point out that I am not being sexist here; it's simply that I have encountered few gentlemen with redhair who seem worthy of founding the Brothers of the Red Hair-archy. In fact, I've found only one--and he's on thin ice at best (not even counting the fact that he's Canadian), Chris McLaren. However, as he is the only one, thus making the term Brothers impossible, he is given special status as the Sisters of the Red Hair-archy Offical Auxiliary Brother until further notice. (However, in the meantime, many equally powerful and wonderful men can be found on my Manliest Men Page).
I also would like to comment on a couple of concerns. First, I make many
references to divinity and saints, etc. In fact, while perusing the Web
in search of my sisters I found many disturbing 'goddess' references. As
far as I am concerned, none of these individuals are goddesses in their
own right; rather they all share a part of a collective, centralized
source of redhaired power which in itself is a form of divinity.
Secondly, many have raised concerns about who does and does not dye their
hair and whether or not they can be called real redheads. My view is that
those who dye their hair have obviously felt the call of Red Power, and
though they may not have the genes (and with them, the genetic inability
to tan which means, unfortunately, that they will go out with the rest of
humankind over skin cancer, while the true redheads survive, thrive, and
eventually dominate), their enlightenment earns them a certain amount of
respect.
Finally, I must address an important issue. The Web is crawling (no pun
intended) with a good deal of pornography and other adult material. While
I stand strong against censorship, it does irk me a bit to see many of my
fellow Sisters becoming sex symbols out on the Internet. Rather, let me
clarify. Redheads, out of their power, naturally become sex symbols; it
simply can't be helped. What irks me is that I question the methods and
intentions of many who view these redheads as such, though again, I
suppose that is their own perogative. However, since this is MY page, and
these are MY Sisters, and NOT Objects of Sexual Exploitation as far as I'm
concerned, there will be nothing of a 'sleazy' nature on this page. So,
if you came here for smut, scanty clothing, and other such silliness,
TURN BACK NOW. If the large amount of text here has not already
been a warning, then consider this as one.
So, now what?
Well, the Sisters of the Red Hair-archy is slowly being assembled. Eventually, I hope to feature more well-known Sisters (though Nicole, Julia, Gillian, and Tori do a wonderful job on this page so far, don't you think?), as well as commentary from the many other Sisters out there who have to receive their fair share of attentions. Stay tuned!
