Contacting Old World Stone Carving
It is important that we again remind you that nothing you have seen on this site is for sale. Each piece is specifically designed for individual clients and is the only one of its kind.
Please, try and provide us with as much of the following information as possible in your e-mail:
• Your location and climate.
• What you are looking for (i.e., a sculpture, fireplace, a specific piece of furniture, sculpture, ornamentation, an entry, etc.), and its approximate scale/size.
• The historical period or style in which you would like us to design your project. You may to refer to pictures you have seen on this site that you like if you are not familiar with the names of specific styles. We can design something that delivers the same feeling, elemental qualities or tone of a given piece, but we cannot replicate the piece itself.
• Your timeline. If you are in the process of building or adding on to a home, please tell us how far into the process you are. Optimally, we are contacted early enough to speak with your architect, contractor or foundation-layer to ensure that the structure will be able to support the weight of the piece you want. Existing homes may be able to support a large stone structure, but it is important to have the foundation assessed, and if it is not sufficient, that it can be reinforced.
