Hi, just found you site, looks good. I'm just starting on my site (trees of the UK) and at the moment am taking photos to put on it. Have a look if you want but be warned, it doesn't look very good at the moment - I'm learning HTML slowly. I assume you live in California from the pictures on your site. I live in London but want to come to California sometime to photograph the redwoods and sequoias. Have you seen them? Keep up the good work. Jeremy.

I am the Class Coordinator, in my son's 1st grade class, for a school wide beautification project in which parents and children celebrate nature by tending garden plots around the 80 year old campus of a primary school (Kindergarten and 1st grade) in Summ rfield, North Carolina. We have in our class garden area, two old oak trees. I intend to introduce these trees to the children and generally celebrate nature and the seasons through them. I am excited to glean lots of great material from your site! Perh ps our trees and the projects we do with them can serve as an example to other school children. To meet our trees, we will walk to them with blindfolds on, and remove our blindfolds only after we are lying on the ground beneath the trees, gazing up into he branches and falling leaves. I will use a sort of riddle on the way "What am I? I am tall and old and home to....." Thank you for a poem or two to recite as well. I would love to hear from you, especially if you have suggestions for young children. Thanks again, Carrie Spencer
