   PHIL CALLAWAY

An award-winning author and speaker, Phil Callaway is known worldwide for his
humorous yet perceptive look at the Christian life. He is the best-selling author of a
dozen books including I Used to Have Answers... Now I Have Kids, Making Life
Rich Without Any Money, Honey, I Dunked the Kids,
and Who Put the Skunk in the
Trunk?
Phil's list of accomplishments includes shutting off the TV to listen to his
children's questions (once), taking out the garbage without being told (twice), and
convincing his high school sweetheart to marry him.

Described as "Dave Barry with a message," Callaway is a popular speaker at
conferences, camps, marriage retreats, Promise Keepers, and Focus on the Family.
He is a frequent guest on national radio and television, and partners with
Compassion, an international Christian child development agency. Phil's writings
have won more than a dozen international awards and been translated into
languages like Spanish, Chinese, Portuguese, Indonesian, Polish, and English one
of which he speaks fluently. His 5-part video series, The Big Picture, is being viewed
in 80,000 churches worldwide.

Callaway is editor of Prairie Bible Institute's Servant magazine, which he started in
1988 with the goal of encouraging, edifying, and educating Christians. A general
interest, interdenominational magazine, Servant is now read in more than 100
countries. Phil has published hundreds of articles in such publications as Focus on
the Family, New Man, Christian Parenting Today, Christian Reader, Home Life
,
and is a regular contributor to magazines like Decision, Marriage Partnership and
Faith & Friends.

His personal definition of success was written after surviving a Seattle earthquake:
"I will consider myself a success when I am walking close to Jesus everyday,
building a strong marriage, loving my kids, and performing meaningful work. I'll
consider myself a success when I'm making others homesick for Jesus." One of
Phil's greatest joys is helping others laugh and learn about the things that matter
most.

Phil lives in Alberta, Canada with Ramona and their three children, ages eleven to
fourteen.
