The Nine-Chakra System

An Introduction to the Principles of the Lunar and Solar Calendars

The Body-Temple: Thus far we have examined the mechanics of a "Full Grand Coven" or Hyper- Hypersphere, wherein all 169 elements of all thirteen spheres are present. This is the maximum number possible for a Hyper-Hypersphere; what is the minimum possible?

A (fully-dimensional) Hypersphere may function with a minimum of four members: One Monadic center, and three Atmic peripherals; as, for example, the Yellow-Blue-Red trine... These peripherals will then assume the Fixed-Mutable-Cardinal Triplicity, known in Veda as Brahma, Indra, Rudra (later Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva), or Sattva-Rajas-Tamas...also known as Sat, Chit, and Ananda, or SPIRIT, SOUL, and BODY; or LOVE, LIGHT, and LAUGHTER.

Let's assume then that we wish to create a Divinely human framework to explore our potentials as LOVE (Spirit or Sat), LIGHT (Soul or Chit), and LAUGHTER (Body or Ananda); these potentials form a Holy Trinity of Demiurges in the Atmic or Spiritual Realm...

Just as in the full complement we multiply the twelve Atmic Demiurges by their twelve Buddhic counterparts to obtain 144 Causal Angels (which may be seen as 144 chakras serving the Monadic "I AM"), we now multiply each of these three Atmic Demiurges by their three Buddhic counterparts to form a minimal Causal energy-system of nine Solar- Angelic or Human Soul-seals, each of which can then cooperate as a chakra or vortex in the "I AM" Monadic Spirit-Soul: each running from front to back of the body (or White/Black paired front to back), and all stacked vertically through the body from just above the head to just below the feet. These Nine are:

Crown (Spiritual Love or Spirtual Spirit), the Logoic Subplane of the Elohim
Brow (Spiritual Light or Spiritual Soul), the Monadic Subplane of the Seers
Throat (Spiritual Laughter or Spiritual Body), the Atmic Subplane of the Magicians
Heart (Soul Love or Psychic Spirit), the Buddhic Subplane of the Clerics
Solar Plexus (Soul Light or Psychic Soul), the Causal Subplane of the Royals
Navel (Soul Laughter or Psychic Body), the Mental Subplane of the Warriors or Armigers
Sex (Bodily Love or Bodily Spirit), the Astral Subplane of the Merchants or Yeomen
Base (Bodily Light or Bodily Soul), the Physical Subplane of the Artisans
Feet (Bodily Laughter or Bodily Body), the Elemental Subplane of the Servants .

Please note that these are all Subplanes within the Causal, but may function cooperatively as a conjoined Spiritual Soul in the Monadic Realm.

Now this basic structure allows for a great many cosmologies and calendar systems. By using all nine chakras, and reflecting these down from the Causal through their Mental counterparts, and multiplying again by three each into the peripheral spheres of the Astral Realm, we generate a wonderful trinary-trigram calendar of 27 Lunar Nakshatras or "days", which begins on the "day" following New Moon with 0-0-0; Spirit-Spirit-Spirit (Love-Love-Love), culminates on the Full Moon with 1-1-1; Soul-Soul-Soul (Light-Light-Light), and ends on the "day" preceding New Moon with 2-2-2; Body-Body-Body (Laughter-Laughter-Laughter), for Manifestation, or the reverse for Ascension. In the physical calendar, it takes slightly over 27 days for the Moon to complete the zodiacal circuit, and about 29 1/2 days to run from New Moon to New Moon.

The complete cycle runs as follows:
(New Moon)

(New Moon)

This aligns the Lunar cycle with the Initiatory subcycle, as the Moon is seen to spend three days in each chakra, gradually flooding through and nourishing the whole body. Moreover, by extending this again into a trinary-hexagram system of 27 Lunar months, we arrive at the basic timetable for any given Ascension Initiation.

In the full-complement, 144-chakra Solar Calendar, three of these chakras -- Crown (Spirit-Love or Spirit-Spirit), Solar Plexus (Soul-Light or Soul-Soul), and Feet (Body-Laughter or Body-Body) remain single, or Monadic; that is, they do not pair off into the sides of the body. We may call the Archetypes for these strictly-Monadic chakras the Elohim (Crown), the Royals (Solar Plexus), and the Servants or Elementals (Feet).

The other six chakras divide and pair off to vibrate the twelve Atmic Demiurges on either side of the Spiritual Body's vertical center-line or spine, which may be equated with the South-North solstice-line. (To simplify, we will name the various Demiurges by their subray color only, e.g., Green Priest, instead of White/Black: Green Priest.) This, then, is how we might derive the Atmic Anatomy of the Spiritual Body from the Monadic Psychology of the Spiritual Soul:

The Monadic Crown Chakra (White), as noted above, remains Transcendental to the Atmic Anatomy; it opens to the Logoic Subplane, symbolized by the Elohim Kingdom. This is the Subtle Spirit or Primal Spirit.

The Monadic Brow Chakra (front-back) is the vertex and vortex for the Atmic Right Eye (Yellow; Spiritual Imaginer or Creator) and the Atmic Left Eye (Orange-Yellow; Spiritual Scholar); this opens to the Monadic Subplane, symbolized by the Monadic Kingdom. The Brow Chakra's vision is spirit and matter; stars and planets (the Middle Spirit); it governs the Light Kingdom and the Caste of Sages and Seers who cognize it: Yellow Creator envisions the potential Mansions and Constellations of starry space-time (Realm of Archangel Micheal); and Orange-Yellow Scholar or Sage reflects upon the bodies or spheres of Planetary Knowledge (Realm of Archangel Myrrhael). The Solar Creator rules the contracted, radiant point of starry spirit, ultimate Yang (analagous to positive or active Consciousness), and the Lunar Sage rules the expanded, subtle sphere of planetary matter, ultimate Yin (analogous to negative or receptive Consciousness).

The Monadic Throat Chakra (front-back) oversees the Atmic Right Shoulder (Yellow-Green; Spiritual Enchantress) and the Atmic Left Shoulder (Orange; Spiritual Mage); this opens to the Atmic Subplane, symbolized by the Demiurgic Kingdom. Throat-Nose Chakra, whose vibration is poetry, magical naming, inspired listening and musical chant (the Dense Spirit), governs the Sound Kingdom and the Caste of Mage-Poets and Singers who express it: Orange Mage pronounces Poetry and Magical Naming (Realm of Archangel Eremiel); and Yellow-Green Enchanter sings Music and Enchantment (Realm of Archangel Iofael). The Mercurial Mage rules the primal letters and words (analogous to positive super-strings); the Isiac Enchanter rules notes and music (analogous to negative super-strings).

The Monadic Heart Chakra (front-back) oversees the Atmic Right Breast (Green: Spiritual Priest) and the Atmic Left Breast (Red-Orange: Spiritual Diviner); this opens to the Buddhic Subplane, symbolized by the Archangelic Kingdom. Heart-Hand Chakra, whose frequency is ritual, drama, art, compassion, healing, and intuitive feeling (the Subtle Soul), governs the Symbolic Realm and the Caste of Priests, Priestesses, Abbesses, and Abbots who serve it: Green Priest rules the Gifts of Ritual Drama, Compassion, and Right Relationship (Realm of Archangel Anachiel); and Red-Orange Abbess or Diviner rules the Treasures of Art, Healing, and Divination (Realm of Archangel Rathael). Venerable Priest rules giving (analogous to positive quark force); Persephonic Diviner rules receiving (analogous to negative quark force).

As noted above, the Monadic Solar Plexus (White/Black: Spiritual King/Queen) stands alone; that is, runs only front-back, and remains Transcendental to the Atmic Anatomy; this opens to the Causal Subplane, symbolized by the Solar Angels of the Human Kingdom.

The Monadic Navel Chakra (front-back) supports the Atmic Liver (Green-Blue: Spiritual Fowler or Seeker) and the Atmic Spleen (Red: Spiritual Rider or Hunter); this opens to the Mental Subplane. Navel Chakra, whose frequency is movement, power, and mental dominance (the Dense Soul), governs the Animal Kingdom, and the Caste of Armigers or Hunter-Warriors who work with it: Red Hunter rules the Animals (Realm of Archangel Zadochiel), and Green-Blue Fowler rules the Birds (Realm of Archangel Aurael). Martial Hunter rules fighting and zeal (analogous to strong force), while Neptunian Fowler rules flight, seeking and brooding (analogous to weak force).

The Monadic Sex Chakra (front-back) supports the Atmic Right Hip (Blue: Spiritual Planter) and the Atmic Left Hip (Violet-Red: Spiritual Forester); this opens to the Astral or Emotional Subplane. Sex Chakra, whose frequency is reproduction, sensuality and astral flowering (the Subtle Body), governs the Vegetable Kingdom, and the Caste of Yeomen, Growers, or Merchants who tend it: Blue Planter governs the Herbs and Grains (Realm of Archangel Uriel), and Violet-Red Forester rules the Trees, Orchards and Forests (Realm of Archangel Shaichunael). Bacchic Planter rules rapid herbal growth, insemination and creativity (analogous to electricity), while Uranian Forester rules slow forest growth, receptivity and communion (analogous to magnetism).

The Monadic Base Chakra (front-back) supports the Atmic Right Buttock (Blue-Violet: Spiritual Mason) and the Atmic Left Buttock (Violet: Spiritual Smith); this opens to the Physical Subplane. Base Chakra, whose frequency is groundedness and physical existence (the Middle Body), governs the Mineral Kingdom, and the Caste of Artisans who work with it: Violet Smith or Alchemist governs the Metals (Realm of Archangel Gwriel or Gabriel), and Blue-Violet Mason or Sculptor governs the Stones (Realm of Archangel Rwkael). Jovial Smith rules accretion, amalgamation, accumulation, and congelation (analagous to gravity), while Saturnine Mason governs carving, cutting, chiseling, chipping away, and polishing (analogous to anti-gravity or levity).

The Monadic Feet Chakra, as noted above is Transcendental to the Atmic Anatomy; this opens to the Elemental Subplane, symbolized by the Elemental Kingdom (the Dense Body).

(We may also analyze these these Nine Castes into 81 Subcastes.)

The whole system of chakra-pairs (alternating front-back and left-right) may be viewed geometrically as an accordion of stacked tetrahedra, each balancing on the horizontal edge (chakra-pair) it shares with the tetrahedron below ---- the diagonal edges of these stacked tetrahedra run together to form beautifully spiralling double helixes connecting all the chakra vertices. These tetrahedra are flanked by interconnecting octahedra, forming the standard tet-octa geometries of consciousness containing the 6 axes (12 radii) of the Vector-Equilibrium Matrix or hypersphere.

Now, the twelve Atmic Demiurges reflect out (or in) into twelve Buddhic Archangels, each the center of its own peripheral cluster of twelve Causal or Solar Angels. There are thus 144 Solar Angels, which may be allotted around the Calendar Wheel as duodeciles of the twelve months, each Angel occupying 2 1/2 degrees of the 360-degree Wheel.

The twelve Atmic Demiurges may each be seen as travelling in a Quest through the twelve Buddhic Realms (the twelve Months), and pairing with each Buddhic Archangel in turn to generate a Solar Angel offspring, one possessing the Mainray (Hypersphere color) of its Archangel and the Subray (sphere color) of its Demiurge --- or we may alternatively view the Demiurge as having to achieve a Task symbolized by that Solar Angel in order to pass through the realm (Month) of that Buddhic Archangel.

As an Atmic Demiurge accomplishes all twelve tasks of His or Her Quest, S/He progresses through the nine subcastes of His or Her Caste (see The 81 Subcastes) and qualifies for raising to the Monadic Realm; thus YHShWH or Jesus (Violet-Red Forester or Carpenter) acquires the twelve Solar Angels or "Disciples" of the different forms of Tree-Consciousness to master the Buddhic World-Tree (Shaichunael or Satan) and qualify as Monad or Christ of the Piscean (Violet-Red) Age, ca. 160 B.C.E. - 2000 C.E. The previous Age had for its "Christ" the Red Hunter or Warrior (remembered as Odysseus and Heracles and probably Noah), who accomplished the twelve Solar-Angel tasks of Animal-Consciousness to master the Buddhic World-Dragon (Zadochiel or Azazael) and qualify as Monad or Malachizadoch of the Aries (Red) Age, ca. 2320 B.C.E. - 160 B.C.E. The mechanics of all twelve Quests are preserved in the Primordial Calendar.

We begin each Month overtly with the Solar Angel of the Subray converse to its Mainray; that is, sharing the same chakra but of opposite polarity; flipped left-right across the vertical Solstice-line; e.g. Proserpina's Taurus, Red-Orange Month (of Treasures; Left Heart, first after Spring Equinox) begins with the Solar Angel of Red-Orange: Green (Treasure of the Priest, Venus/Libra's Demiurge of the Right Heart, last before Fall Equinox: the Triple Ring or Brooch). Logically, we call this calendar system the Converse Calendar, abbreviated C.C..

Covertly, there is a second calendar system beginning each Month with the Solar Angel of the Subray inverse to its Mainray; that is, being the Mainray's planetary octave; flipped up-down across the horizontal Equinox-line; e.g. 12th-planet Proserpina's Taurus, Red-Orange Month (of Treasures; Left Heart, first after Spring Equinox) begins with the Solar Angel of Red-Orange: Red (Treasure of the Warrior, 5th-planet Mars/Aries' Demiurge of the Left Navel, last before Spring Equinox: the Horned Altar). This system is called the Inverse Calendar, abbreviated I.C..

The play between these two systems allows for a beautiful unfolding of a rich and subtle Dharma/drama between Demiurges of opposite or diametrically-opposed Subray (e.g. Green Priest and Red Warrior), highlighting the tension of the seasons, and providing festal echoes or octaves as each Demiurge appears twice in every Month, separated by a "fortnight" (actually, about fifteen days).

We recognize four High Feasts in each Month; these are the Feasts belonging to the four Subrays (duodeciles) that are converse, inverse, opposite, or identical to the Month's overall Mainray. The Demiurges of those Subrays celebrate special Milestones during these Feasts: Rebirth and Epiphany, Maturation and Aging, Attainment and Coronation, Death and Ascent/Descent, and around again...

The 48 Feasts (each a dudodecile, or 2 1/2 days long) cluster together at regular intervals to form pentads (5 days long) and weeks (7 1/2 days long), so that we actually only have 32 or 33 separate High Holidays, depending on where we divide the year.

Again, to simplify, we will name the various Demiurges by their subray color only, e.g., Green Priest, instead of White/Black: Green Priest. Now, let us examine the grand drama of the Solar calendar itself.

Here's a brief sketch of the 48 Feasts comprising the 33 High Holidays in the 144-Angel Calendar; we will follow this with a closer look at the folklore of the Primordial Tradition:
