Character Creation

This message board  PBEM is for Werewolves and with the possibility of other shapeshifters as well  from White Wolf's Werewolf:The Apocalypse. This however, will be up to the Storyteller.
 
 

1. Under the Blood Moon  will be played with Second Edition Werewolf rules only.

 
2. During character creation you may use an extra 30 freebie points to design your character for a grand total of 45 freebie points. The basic rule of thumb is simple: if you can provide a detailed and interesting background, then a more advanced character may be possible. Ask the ST for details. 
3. REMINDER: You can only have the same amount of Merits as you do Flaws, please do not present me with a Munchkin, you will be rejected RIGHT away.

 
4. Characters may be of any of the main Werewolf  tribes, others  will be determin by the ST. I prefer the 13 Tribes, but if you just must choose a something outside the Tribes then submit your request.
5. HINT: The more detailed your background is, the more your chances are in having something other than a Werewolf.  However, the prefered choice would be for you to play one.

 
6. Characters are free to use the standard abilities from the published core rules, and to add any abilities they feel may be suitable for their character. However, if you decide upon an unusual ability, how did they learn it? 

• Players are encouraged to take as many merits and flaws as they wish. However, Beware! The ST can and will use flaws during the game to hamper the character. Don't see flaws as extra freebie points: they can be truly bothersome. If you have an idea for a flaw that isn't in the book, suggest it to the ST, and they will decide what it's worth.

 
• You must supply the ST with an equipment list if you plan to use these objects during the course of the chronicle. If it is not on your character sheet then you do not have it.

 
• Concept and background are important, especially if you want to play-long term. What is your character's history? How and when was he embraced? What motivates her? Does she have family? The MORE detailed, the better, because a good concept is more important than mere numbers or dots can ever be!

• Please provide images for your character as well, this will bring out the realism of the game, and enhance the chronicle greatly.
