One Night a Year

A howl fills the night,
The moon is rising,
The stars are out,
But their not the only ones.

One night a year,
Is so special to the demised,
The dead walk and wonder.

For only one night a year,
Goblins and Ghouls are out,
all monsters come out,
With no hysteria.

One night a year,
Shadows take forms,
The madness within is released,
All is unrecognized chaos,
For only one night a year.

Yet the mortals have no idea.
