Welcome to Audra and John's old "Jack of All
Trades" fan page! The series didn't last to long, but alas, we enjoyed
it so much that we will keep this page online for any who discover it to explore.
Lucky you!

Jack of All Trades premiered
January 22, 2000 in the Back2Back Action block. The first episode,
"Return of the Dragoon" was very kick-ass. Imagine if you will: Take
Ash from the Evil Dead movies, give him Maxwell Smart's job, and set
it all in post-Revolutionary times, and you have the
idea.
Jack of All Trades is brought to
us by long time director/producer partners, Sam Raimi and Robert
Tapert (or as I call him, Mr. Xena: Warrior Princess--he's married to
Lucy Lawless). If you have never heard of these guys, Shame on you!

Movie Database.

The premier episode,"Return of the
Dragoon" was directed by Josh Becker, also responsible for
Hercules, Xena, and Lunatics: A Love Story. To learn
more about Josh Becker (and you really should), or if you just need
an excellent recommendation for a movie rental, visit his web
site:

The music is composed by Joseph LoDuca.
Anyone who's seen the Hercules movies and series, Xena,
the Evil Dead movies, and Lunatics: A Love Story will
certainly recognize his work. But did you futher know he composed the
music for The Amazing Live Seamonkeys cartoon?? Click below

The Theme
Song Finally complete (and I
think accurate). It was hard to understand a bunch of drunken pirate
guys, but the dancing was divine.
THE CAST
Bruce
Campbell (Jack Stiles). John wants you all to know that this is the section he poured everything into, because he thinks Bruce Campbell is the most kick-ass actor on the planet, and is on a quest to rent or purchase all of his movies. And I did the filmography off of the top of my head! You rock, Bruce! There's also an Evil Dead page in here by John, for those of you who lean more towards those movies than the Hercules/Xena end of things. Also
visit Bruce's excellent website.

Angela Dotchin (Emilia Rothschild).
Enter
Emilia's secret laboratory.
Don't worry. It's an illusion--smoke and mirrors, you
see.

Stuart Devenie (Governor Croque).
Napoleon Bonaparte's taller brother wields the strong hand of French
Imperialism in Palau-Palau. Devenie, a New Zealand theater veteran,
also can list Hercules: The Legendary Journeys among
his
credits. You might remember him as Kurnunnos, the horned Celtic god
of fertility. Mui
Macho! Devenie has also
worked as a drama professor and as a consultant on Shortland
Street, the New Zealand soap opera that so many
Hercules/Xena actors have in common.
Stephen Papps (Captain Brogard) The
captain of the French forces in Palau-Palau. A little more practice
and he might actually be a match for the sword stylings of the
Dragoon. Papps has appeared in bit parts in Hercules and
Xena as well as (surprise) Shortland Street. He also
has an extensive list of theater and film credits, including The
Piano.
