Our Troop Philosophy

• Work toward BSA aims through growth in moral strength and character, participating citizenship, and development of physical, mental, and emotional fitness.
• Family-oriented Troop to promote individual and family involvement in Scouting.
• Equal emphasis on duty to God, duty to country, advancement, outdoor program, instilling value of the Scout Oath, Law, Slogan, and Outdoor Code,

  and HAVING FUN!

Who can join?

• Boys who either have completed fifth grade or are at least 11 but not yet 18.
• Have parent or guardian consent and approved registration form
• Registration is about $20.00 a year and dues are $5 a month. Other costs include the uniform, food for campouts, and fees for special events such as summer camp and camporees.

Troop meetings

• Thursdays (except the 2nd Thursday) at 7 pm at Woodland Park Community Church, 1093 Rock Springs Road at the corner of Woodland Parkway in San Marcos
