EXPERIENCE: Camber Corporation 08/02 - Present Senior Computer Engineer, Camber Corporation, Roslyn, VA Provide graphics support for high-level PowerPoint briefings by Senior Scientists at the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Acquisition, Logistics and Technology (ASAALT). Develop multimedia content for insertion into PowerPoint slides, including original and edited graphics and photos, video and audio clips, animated GIFs and Flash. Edit photographs and graphics using Photoshop 7 and Paint Shop Pro 7. Edit video clips using Adobe Premiere 6.5 and Pinnacle DV500, and export to VCD, DVD, and Web. Troubleshoot problems with playing certain acquired videos, and derive solutions including conversion to supported formats and Codecs. Research methods for optimizing PowerPoint slide shows, including minimizing the file size to improve performance. Stationed overseas for three years at a regional base in the Far East, traveled throughout the Northern and Southern hemispheres on covert missions. Designed and instructed courses in basic through advanced photography and video, installed darkrooms, video workstations and editing suites for U.S. government and foreign liaison. Directed million-dollar fiscal budget for equipment development and engineering (D&E) and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) equipment procurement. Author of the Surveillance Equipment Operation Manual; wrote specifications and photographed equipment. Established and managed an off-site training facility for surveillance photography, digital imaging, and video. Promoted from GS-9 to GS-13. Awarded four exceptional performance certificates. Held a Top Secret TS/SCI clearance. K2 Ski Corporation 04/83 - 01/86 Graphic Arts Specialist Managed a one-person graphic arts photo-lab. Produced artwork and litho film separations for silk-screen printing of ski tops. Photographed K2 ski products for the Advertising Department, and produced a videotape promo in house. Boeing Flight Test 4/80 - 1/83 Industrial Photographer Documented in-flight and ground tests of Boeing aircraft using still, motion picture and video. In the studio, photographed tabletop sets of equipment and executive portraits, and in the factory and offices, photographed manufacturing facilities, assembly lines, “grip-and-grins” and ceremonies. Other responsibilities included processing and printing B&W cut and roll films and editing videotapes using a U-matic editing suite.
