If you would like to hash in Hungary, you have to go to Budapest. They publish their hashing schedule in English in the Budapest Sun newspaper. For more information about the Budapest Hash House Harriers, call Jim Verdin, 176-0807; Liz Sassie, 296-7800 (work), (06) 20-444-294 (home); or Martha Jane Tonelli at 186-2434. Of if you are on your way to the hash and get lost call 395-1508.
Welcome to the H8 web page. We are still a disorganization of drinkers with a running problem. Unfortunately, we ran into a few legal problems and have been banned by the government and can no longer legally hash in the local community. Because of the ban we have disbursed across the planet. But if you've got half a mind to go hashing, that's all it takes and you can find one of us in your location. We run, jog, walk, or crawl every week or so based on any calendar event we can think of to socialize about, all over the world. Our runs are 2 to 5 miles cross country fun runs (not races). We follow trails of flour and chalk laid by the "hares" which end at the "On On" party and celebration. We only discriminate against those who do not have a sense of humor, all others are welcome to join our next hash. For more information or to ask a question about hashing see our Frequently Asked Questions page.
