Welcome to the Bears of the Mcneil River home page. August of 1998, I was lucky enough to get a permit to go photograph the bears of the McNeil River. This page is dedicated to those wanting to visit or have been to the McNeil River. You will find stories, tips, equipment lists, do's and don'ts as well as many photographs of the bears of McNeil. This page is a result of many months of planning and work. All photographs and text are copyrighted by the photographer and may not be copied or used without written permission from the photographer.

I am working on updating this site with new pictures as well as information on things that have changed since I have been to McNeil. I will also include some tips for the digital photographer.
