I live in Handsacre to the south east of Rugeley, Staffordshire, UK, in the valley of the River Trent, not far from the forests of Cannock Chase.

Rugeley is the home of the notorious William Palmer, the Prince of Poisoners, hanged publicly in the county town of Stafford.

I am a Leading Electronics Test Engineer, Occupational Pension Fund Trustee and First Aider at Power Magnetics and Electronic Systems Limited, a subsidiary of Ultra Electronic Holdings Plc .

I enjoy backpacking and hill walking in particular, and the great outdoors generally.

I have walked the Pennine Way from south to north, covering the 270 miles in 16 days.
