Welcome to Cole Canoe Base, an outstanding Detroit Area Council camp situated on more then 1350 beautifully wooded acres. Cole offers medium to high adventure canoeing as well as our outstanding traditional in-camp programs. All of our activities are planned and individually tailored to meet the requirements and expectations of each new or experienced unit camping at Cole.
To guarantee your camping adventure, Cole Canoe Base and its dedicated program specialists are now offering 7 weeks of summer program, which include features such as the Broken Paddle Hiking Trail, the 50 Miler, our Low Impact No Trace Camping, the Canoe Training Program, Archery, Rifle and Shotgun ranges, River Rat Rodeo, Eco-Con Live, Rump Bumping, Beast Feast, Paul Bunyan Lumber Jack event, the fabulous Ice Cream Social, COPE Course, Wildlife Encounter, Outdoor Adventure and Indian Village.
